Rene specializes in well-designed, elegant yet practical hats made of 100% cotton with large rims for sun protection, and ties to hold them on your head in the wind. Lined with your choice of colours or patterns to match any outfit, the hats are versatile and can be worn for outdoor activities such as golfing, sailing, gardening, or be dressed up with a silk flower or sash for more formal occasions. They come in many styles and sizes and Rene can make a custom hat to suit any customer’s needs.

"I started by making hats for family and friends; my family are very sun-sensitive. Over the years I have developed my line to adorn any form. I design and make the hats myself, here at the Market. I do theatre, weddings, and special requests. I feel like I am providing a personal service to so many who are not able to find hats in their size."
