With a capacity of up to 800 people, the North Market is well suited for promotional functions, flea markets, displays, large social gatherings, meetings and exhibitions. Tables, chairs and a P.A. system are available for no charge.

- For any booking there is a refundable $2000 deposit required for late and damage fees.
- If additional time is required, there is an extra charge of $600 (4 hour minimum). For civic holidays this fee is $900 (4 hour minimum).
- Prices listed do not include HST.
- Tables and chairs are available for no charge.
The North Market has an area of 10,000 square feet. Recommended capacities with various set ups are as follows.

The large, open space of the North Market allows it to be set up in a variety of ways for different functions. There are some photos of how the space was used for functions in past in the Photogallery (you may have to scroll down to see them).
If there is music, or music with dancing at your Event, an applicable SOCAN charge will be included in your Rental Fee.
The total Rental Fee that appears on your Rental Agreement is a Final Fee. There are no hidden fees or additional charges required to book our Facility. This Fee is the sum of the Rental Fee, Refundable Late / Damage Deposit, applicable SOCAN Fee, and applicable early Access Fee. These are subjected to a 13% HST tax. All Rental Payments are by Certified Cheque only, made payable to City - Treasurer, Toronto.
A Certificate of Liability Insurance (Two Million Dollars) may be required for certain Events held at the St. Lawrence Market North Building.
